The Last Page!

Well, here it is, the last page for my birthday album. The picture was taken just before we went off to my party so I;m afraid it was just thrown onto Once Upon a Time paper. The albums were really well received at the party, lots of my guests found themselves featured :O)

Party time!

This was our works christmas party at the Runnymede Hotel, a wonderful evening, much hilarity but maybe that was the booze!

All together now...Cheeeeeeeeeeeese!!

It's my Party

but I'm not gonna cry :O) I've run out of time! I have completed all my pages just in time but I haven't any time left to upload them tonight. I will blog the rest tomorrow probably - hangover permitting lol !

World Scout Jamboree 2007

Jamboree 2007! It was such a hot day the jamboree participants from all over the world were so lucky with the weather in Essex last summer. I met so many people from so many countries. I had helped with the meeting and greeting at Heathrow Airport the previous week. Can you believe that the tented village of the Jamboree in the centenary year of Scouting became the second largest town in Essex for 2 weeks!

These friends have now moved up to Scotland so we don't see them very often :( but this picture shows us all on holiday together. Great hilarity I assure you!

Chessington World of Adventures

We did have fun! This photo is of us on the Beano bus, it went round and round quite fast, Alice thought it was hilarious :O) The background paper is from the new DCWV kit as are the letters, the flowers and brads are from Brenda Pinnick :O)

The Pudding Club!

Not what you might think ! This was a school function where we had lots of stalls selling International Food, my two friends and I didnt have anything international to contribute so we decided to do lots of different desserts. Of course we then needed a name for our stand hence the Pudding club appeared :O) I found this paper at the bottom of my stash so I'm not sure where it originates from but hte letters are by Lisa Bearnson :O)

These are my "posh" pics! My friend and I went up to Knightsbridge for one of those makeover nad photoshoot days and these are the results. I mounted them on plain paper and then I used some acetate overlays that I bought t the NEC in march. I don't think they need anything else :O)
Have a look at Heidi's blog, she is giving away some lovely blog candy :O)

Disney take 2

Our second trip to Disney ended in disaster for me. I managed to dislocate my knee on the second day hence the picture shows me in a wheelchair. Fortunately we were staying at the Disneyland hotel right at the entrance to the park so that made it a bit easier. Photo opportunities greatly increased as a result though which pleased the kids :O) This gorgeous paper is from the new kit from DCWV, the photo is mounted on mirri card :O)

Flight on the London Eye

A birthday treat a few years ago was a flight on the London Eye. We took the train up to Waterloo to board our flight over London. A fabulous day out you can see for miles, if you get the chance you really should do this. The paper is from the recent QVC TSV from DCWV, I cut into the paper to allow my photo to slide underneath one of the stripes. :O)

BiL's Wedding

Alice was bridesmaid for her uncle's wedding, doesnt she look lovely. They had a civil ceremony in a hotel, a lovely setting for a wedding. I double mounted the photo on paper and mirri card, the papers are from an occasions scrapbook kit. :O)

The Maize Maze

We spent hours in the Maize maze near Padstow, it was so big and there were quiz questions to answer along the way. Good job it was lovely day! This was on another of our holidays to Cornwall but this time we took some friends along too :O) Papers are from the Flavia collection as are the letters :O)

My Sister's Wedding

It was such a hot day!!! we all look a little sunburned don't we. This is a very rare picture of my family all together, it really doesnt happen often enough. The paper and embellishments are from an Occasions Scrapbook kit.
I'm busy making the last few pages for my album so I'll be back later on :O)

Thursday, 15 May 2008

We met Winnie the Pooh on a freezing day in February half term, what a great holiday we had, total magic! I would have happily paid for that trip several times over to see the looks on my childrens faces that week. The paper is just plain red with the photo mounted on striped and yellow. The little Disney children I bought from someone on Ebay, the Disney stickers came from that source too. I was quite stuck for a suitable title for this page but my husband came up trumps for me :O)

Make a Wish

Charlie's 4th Birthday, what a handsome young man! He was such a cutie then :O) Papers are from We R Memory Keepers as are all the embellishments, the flowers are attached with coordinating brads, the sentiments with foam squares :O)

More North Wales

This picture is of us at Caernarfon Castle, where Prince Charles was invested as Prince of Wales in 1969. The papers are again from Brenda Pinnick, I love that kit :O)

Snowdon again!

Another holiday to Snowdon in North Wales but this time we took the children. It was October half term so we didnt walk all the way up the mountain but we had a great time. The papers are from the Brenda Pinnick Scrapbook kit, the photos are double mounted on pastel green card and mirri card. :O)

All Dressed Up!

A rare night out at an RAOB Christmas dinner and dance. We don't get many good photos of the two of us together butthis is a nice one.

Hold On Tight

All Aboard!! We are at Dobwalls in Cornwall again and about to set off on the train ride, I love Dobwalls they have 2 trains to ride on and a huge adventure playground, we always have a great time there.

Charlie's 1st Birthday

This is Charlie on his big day, he had a Charlie Cat Cake from Tesco, we thought that was very appropriate! I had 2 sheets of this lovely paper from Creative Imaginations so I decoupaged the large parcel, the fairy cake sticker is also from Creative Imaginations.

Beach Baby

I love this background paper, it is called Ocean Spray from Let Your Memories Flourish Papers by Stamp-It Australia. It was perfect for this sandcastle picture of me with Charlie on his first beach holiday in Cornwall. He was 8 months old but already crawling - that was a bit of a nightmare!! lol. You can tell from his sand castle building skills that he's going to be an engineer of some sort!!!! :O)

Two more pages for the album, I made 8 pages yesterday so I will try and post some more for you later. These papers are from the beautiful Once Upon a Time collection from DCWV, the embellishments too. :O)
