Preview!

I thought I would give you just one little preview of what you can expect if you are coming to my All Occasions class next weekend.  This is just one of the many cards we will make, I hope it whets your appetite. The background is from the designer paper stack in Baja Breeze.  The Wedding wheels image is stamped in matching ink, as is the sentiment. I used the scallop border punch to create the pretty edging for the image and finished off with a large bow of whisper white organza ribbon.

Something old, new, borrowed and ...

.... blue!

I think this is my favourite photo from Rachel and Alex's blessing so it definitely deserved to be scrapped for posterity don't you agree? The backing page is made from 2 pieces from the designer stack in Marina Mist blue, the photos are matted onto the same colour and I sponged the edges of the photo mats in marina mist ink.  The two smaller photos are of details of the day that were so pretty I just had to snap them too and they make a lovely accompaniment to the main picture along with titling made from a scalloped punch.  The ribbon, in which I "tied a knot" !!!, is whisper white of course, just right for wedding pictures.

more Wedding!

So, first here is the happy couple! then beneath is the fish bowl with the lights on, then the hundreds of cake boxes tht I helped assemble and lastly the bridal favours that I helped with too. They were little organza bags with a beautiful butterfly bead attaced to a ribbon and an ivy leaf. Inside were a tube of love heart sweets personalised with the names and date of the wedding and a match book that had little seed sticks to plant.

Wedding Day

I made for my friend Nikki's wedding.
The champagne glass was a photo
which I cut out and 3d mounted onto
textured paper. I added a piece of ribbon
and some feathers and beads.


I was also part of the team that helpred decorate the reception venue. I was in charge of balloons and I dont think I did a bad job even if I do say so myself. The table decorations were beautiful, huge fishbowls with ivy and roses inside and some fairy lights. The room looked totally magical :O)

BiL's Wedding

Alice was bridesmaid for her uncle's wedding, doesnt she look lovely. They had a civil ceremony in a hotel, a lovely setting for a wedding. I double mounted the photo on paper and mirri card, the papers are from an occasions scrapbook kit. :O)

My Sister's Wedding

It was such a hot day!!! we all look a little sunburned don't we. This is a very rare picture of my family all together, it really doesnt happen often enough. The paper and embellishments are from an Occasions Scrapbook kit.
I'm busy making the last few pages for my album so I'll be back later on :O)

Lanzarote / Italy

Our Honeymoon took us to Lanzarote for 5 days and then on to Italy with 12 mates for a weeks skiing! Surprisingly there are very few photos from our honeymoon, I wonder why!!!
Papers are from Colorbok and the Brenda Pinnick christmas kit as are the chipboard letters :O)

More Wedding Pictures

Our wedding was a bit unusual, because of our involvement in Scouting a Guard of Honour had been arranged as a surprise for when we came out of the church. My husband had to have 2 Best Men because he couldn't choose between his best friends, he said that if it was ok for Prince Charles then it was ok for him too! :O)
The papers are from the Flavia collection with just a touch of ribbon :O)

Happily Ever After

Our wedding day, 23rd February 1991. It was the windiest day ever! Don't throw confetti in the church grounds said the vicar so nobody did but it didnt hit the ground until it was across the far side of the church garden!! lol! Yes I know it was February and it was freezing but we really wanted an open top car, besides....(cheesy moment alert).....
... we had our love to keep us warm :O)
The background paper is from DCWV Once upon a time collection, such beautiful paper that I didnt feel the need for any more embellishments. :O)
