Freebies!

These cards I made using some free papers that were given away with a magazine, I forget which one, but theyre very pretty.  The stamped images were coloured with promarkers.  The last one has some 3D'd roses, I took a second piece of matching paper and cut out the flowers and 3d mounted them to add the dimension.

Birthday girl

I made this card for a friends daughter who turned seventeen this week. The glamourous lady is a decoupaged image which I matted onto a black dl card for a dramatic look. I added the greeting with the hot foil pen and also used it to write my message inside.

I've gone back to those silver card blanks today, I do like the contempory feel they have. The teddy bear images are from a Create and Craft decoupage sheet. Matted onto some holographic card and the finishing touch some coordinating ribbon down the spine of the card.
Simples !

Cheers!

Cheers! She looks like a party girl doesn't she! This lovely design is from the Jolly Nation range of characters. A decoupage sheet and a matching background paper. this time onto a DL card with a decorative border; and I've left room at the top to add a suitable greeting.

Beary Special

This was a kit I picked up at the NEC in November made by Create and Craft. Two very cute bears, decoupaged and layered onto coordinating cardstock. I'm going to add a piece of ribbon through the tag tops just to finish them off.

Goosed!

A miserable grey afternoon and I needed some brightening up. This paper was just perfect for the job that fresh colour just reminds me that spring is on the way. I watercoloured the stamped image as is my want of late and mounted it onto gold card. I also decoupaged some matching flowers onto the background paper just to give the finished card some more dimension and added just a touch of sparkle.

Lilac flowers and Butterflies

I have a bit of a thing about dresses at the moment I think. This was a kit card so all the embellishments came together. The flowers are decoupaged to add some depth and I added some glitter to lift the dress a little. I like the use of paper doily type paper as a background, I think I may exploit that a little more another time.

Monochromed Elegance

I don't often visit Black and White but I thought these images looked great on the black card. I did however add some highlights in the form of some border peel-offs and strips of holographic card. The image itself is decoupaged and highlighted with some glitterglue. I do love a spot of cutting out!

Cheeky cutouts

Aren't these cheeky ?! Very simple images decoupaged and layered and then matted onto a coordinating coloured square. I mounted them onto square silver cards to keep the contempory feel. I think they're perfect for the teenage girls in my life.

More Valentines

Here are some moe Valentines. I seem to have gone a bit bear crazy! Cute though huh?
As before the bears images are 3D decoupage. The first card is a bright pick DL size with a holographic mat and stripy paper that was a freebie with a magazine. The other two cards are made from handmade paper, the mats are both mirri card, one silver and one red. Finished off with pink fibres down the spine.

Valentines

Whatever happened to January ?!!! I can't believe it's nearly gone already.
I've had a few days off work this week so to keep myself occupied I began making some cards for Valentines Day. These 3 are weeny cards, only 2 1/2 by 4 inches but really cute all the same I think. The teddy bear images are 3d decoupage matted on grey card and then onto some card from a DCWV paper stack. I'm sorry about the quality of the photos, time to upgrade my camera I think.

Birthday Boy

It's my boys birthday next week so I thought I had better get organised and make him a card. He is completely mad about dragons so when I came across this picture I knew it would be great for his card. I decoupaged the image to make it more 3D and added a touch of sparkle with stickles to the dragon and the castle turrets. Hope he likes it :O)

In the Pink!!

I made this card for a friends birthday recently. She likes everything pink so this fitted the bill perfectly. The image is from a decoupage sheet matted on mirri card and then onto a pink blank. Atouch of ribbon to complete it :O)

Christening card

I made this card for a friends baby who was christened today. The bear is a dufex image decoupaged and I added a peel off greeting and his name which you can't see very well in this picture. A lovely service :o)

Sparkly Bling!

This card fulfills two challenges this week! The My Time to Craft challenge is Sparkly and Funky Fairys is Bling.
I attacked this Papernation decoupaged fairy with the glitter glue and mounted her on some holographic card and added some pink glittery ribbon just in case it wasn't already shiny enough :o)

Pretty in Pink

I needed to make a birthday card for my niece who is going to be six in a week or so. She is very girly so this weeks "Tickled Pink" Challenge from the My Time to Craft blog suited me perfectly . The decoupaged image and coordinating backing paper are both from Design House, I added a strip of pink ribbon and some sparkle to finish it off.

More Decoupage

More Decoupaged cards, very much along the lines of the last lot. Won't have time for any creations over the weekend as we are off to camp. I must be mad, our wedding anniversary as well! What a way to spend it!

February card swap

These are the cards I made for the monthly swap on Craftswap. They are a bit shiny so haven't photographed very well, a lovely reflection of the dining table though! As you can see I had a bit of a decoupage moment!!
