Happy Campers
The newest Patchwork Pals kit from Kanban and QVC, I just adore these characters. The caravan design is printed across the whole back of the card too and the caravan window opens up into the perfect aperture. I attached the back view of the couple to the front views and mounted them on the inside of the card so that were peeking out of the window. The wooden bench and pussy cat are raised with 3d foam to add more dimension. Think I may well use this one for my in-laws wedding anniversary later in the year.

A gatefold card this time and when you open it up you find that they are standing outside a very snowy front door.

Snowman
I'm sure there must be a name for the type of fold that is used for this card but I'm blowed if I can remember it! Makes him stand up beautifully anyhow.

More Patchwork Pals
I just love the way you get the rear of the image too in this kit. When you open the card you see the couple peering out! SOoooo cute :O)

Patchwork Pals
I love these characters. Another Christmas kit from QVC, these are sooooo cute. This little man really slides down the hill on his toboggan as you pull the tab at the side. Such gorgeous colours and papers too. More to come!
Just to make sure I have a record of most of the things I make I have added these pictures. They are from a Kanban kit from QVC. Simple and straightforward to make but some nice large cards which makes a change.

Back to Birthdays
Christmas is over! and I now have some table back and a little bit of time as it is the school holidays so back to birthday cards. I rediscovered this QVC kit when i was clearing the table for Christmas dinner. The hedgehog images are stamps from the Penny Black range which I watercoloured, the shopper is a Jolly Nation image.. They were matted onto holographic card and coordinating papers. The butterfly card is finished off with some matching peel-offs and vellum attached with gem brads.

Blue Birthday

I rediscovered this kit from QVC the other day, lots of coordinating papers in 5 different colours. I started out with the blue set as you can see. Lots of ripping and tearing, some vellum and some brads and finsished off with a couple of peel off greetings. What do you think? :O)

Special Days
The top picture shows us on a visit to an old family friend who lives far away. The bottom picture is a visit to the seaside from Scout Summer camp, Alice was only 5 months old but it wasnt her first experience of camping ( her first was when she was only 9 weeks!! I must have been mad). The papers are from Colorbok and the lettering is from a Lisa Bearnson kit from QVC.
Alice's first birthday! She was just beginning to walk and was more interested in touching the candle flame than blowing it out hence I have a good hold on her hands ! Papers are from a QVC kit:O) Friday, 9 May 2008
Alice's Day
Alice's Christening day, July 1994, she is wearing the same dress that I wore when I was Baptised. It was a beautiful day, after the service at church we went back to my in-laws garden for the christening party.Saturday, 3 November 2007
More Christmas cards
These were all made using the Anna Griffin kit which was a recent QVC TSV. I'm quite liking this kit and will make a lot more.
