Mother's Day Cards

These are the cards I have made for Mother's day for my mum and mil. I am all out of inspiration at the moment so I was really pleased when the latest edition of Let's Make Cards landed on the mat this morning. I have more or less copied the designs from the magazine but hopefully it will provoke something more creative from me over the weekend.

More Decoupage

More Decoupaged cards, very much along the lines of the last lot. Won't have time for any creations over the weekend as we are off to camp. I must be mad, our wedding anniversary as well! What a way to spend it!

February card swap

These are the cards I made for the monthly swap on Craftswap. They are a bit shiny so haven't photographed very well, a lovely reflection of the dining table though! As you can see I had a bit of a decoupage moment!!

This page is my contributions to a book being compiled for a friend of mine on Craftswap who is feeling down at the moment.
The background stamp is the butterflies from Tanda stamps and the flowers are from Pocketful of posies paper.

These are cards that I made from my most recent purchase from QVC.
It is a Brenda Pinnick kit, very simple to make up but very effective.

Flutterbys

I finally completed all the pages for people on the Butterfly Fat Book list on Craftswap Forum this weekend. These examples also include my first attempts with alcohol inks. I used a butterfly peeloff on an inked background which I then cut out and placed on the page which had been stamped with a butterfly background stamp from Tanda. The other pages include butterflies made from acetate and shimmer papers.

Goodness!! How long is it since I last posted something here? Where has the time gone?

Today I completed a tag book that I had started at a workshop when I visited the craft show at Farnborough a couple of weeks ago. All the papers and ribbons are from Blonde moments, gorgeous colours and lots of lovely papers in their range. I have to confess to making a rather large purchase at their stand later.

Getting in the Christmas mood

Made a good start on my Christmas shopping today, books seem to be a major feature amongst my gifts this year.

Will have to get the children to write their wish list over the weekend I think.

Only 7 weekends to go now!!!!

Christmas is coming

Been busy making Christmas cards recently. Need to make so many, some to send and some to sell. Haven't been able to settle to a theme this year each one has been different. Will get some pictures uploaded at the weekend hopefully.
