Let It Snow
The latest installment for my Birthday Album shows me on a skiing holiday in Austria. OMG!! those clothes!!! and the skiing wasnt brilliant either though I can manage a very passable snow plough lol! The photos are mounted on holographic card to add a bit of sparkle and all papers and embellishments are from the Brenda Pinnick Christmas album kit from QVC last year.

I am in a team with 5 others called Coffee M8tes :O) and the theme that was allocated to us was Nature. My envelope is at the top and the insert (front and back) below, I'm not entirely happy with it yet, it doesnt feel finished but I have no idea what to do to it. All suggestions gratefully received.

The water in Majorca...
I haven't posted lately because we have been away in Cornwall for the Spring holidays, a lovely few days away :O)
These pages show our holiday in Majorca. Seven of us went away together for 10 days sharing two apartments. We had a great laugh and there are many crazy stories to tell!!
I wanted to use hot colours for the pages to reflect the temperature in Spain and I think these papers from Flavia work perfectly, the flowers are from Papermania attached with brads. :O)

Queens Scout
The presentation of my Queens Scout Award!! It's the highest award you can gain as a Scout and it was extra special as there were seven of us from our unit achieving it the same year. There are lots of parts to the award, learning new skills and services to the community amongst them but the hardest part for me was the expedition. We decided that we would cycle which meant we had to do a minimum of 150 miles over 5 days. We went to Zeebrugge in Belgium and cycled up through Holland to Rotterdam. Don't believe anyone who says that Holland is flat I can assure you it isn't!!!
SBS 16
After much deliberating I have finally joined the Sisterhood of Blogging stampers group 16! It is a group of like minded women who love stamping, cardmaking scrapbooking and generally being creative. All the members have great blogs which I love to visit, they are all listed in the sidebar on the left.
I have always been interested in various types of crafting but it really took off for me about 3 years ago when I bought an Annie Lang cardmaking kit from QVC, that was me hooked! I now have so much stash that we rarely eat round our dining table!!
I have a big birthday coming up soon and in preparation for that I have recently got into scrapbooking in a big way as the posts on my blog will testify.
I'm really looking forward to getting to know all my "sisters" and gaining a bit of inspiration from you all :o)

House Mouse Pages
I joined in with one of the latests lists on Craftswap forum to make 4x4 pages with a House Mouse theme. These are the first couple of pages. The papers are a mixture of SEI Jolie Chocolat paper stack and DCWV Pocket full of Posies and Glitter Mat stacks. The images are stamped with a timber brown staz-on pad onto white hammered card backed with silver mirri card and the flower embellishments are by Paper mania attached with metallic coloured brads. I need to make 20 pages altogether so I'll try and get on with them tomorrow :O)

Climb Every Mountain
Here I am climbing Mount Snowdon in North Wales. It was a gorgeous day but a long climb, I was so tired when we got to the top that I nabbed the last seat in the train going down !! David had to walk. The funniest thing though was listening to a group of older ladies who had come up in the train. One of them began the short walk to the very tip of the mountain ( all of about 6 feet higher) and her mate said to her " You're not going all the way up there are you?" I laughted but thought to myself "all the way up there? you should have from from all the way down there!" A great day and great memories. The papers came in a Docrafts goody bag, the tag and lettering is from Flavia.

This page is a bit of a mish mash of photos. The top left was taken very early in the morning on a day trip to the beach, we decided to beat the bank holiday traffic by travelling the night before and ended up sleeping in our cars on the beach!! The other pictures are taken at Battle in Sussex and the other at the top of Box Hill.

Another one for the album
More Scouting pictures! The top one shows Jayne and I with the Tank we made for the Beaver Scouts one week. They played with it for ages and at the end of the meeting we let them tear it apart so we could get it all in the recycling box. Strange to think that the boys who played in it probably now have children of their own.

Camping
Here it is, at last, the latest page for my album. I followed the scrapbook challenge set on CSF by Lesley this time, it's called 1,2,3. One word title, two photos and three embellishments in a row.
Papers are from We R memory keepers. The pictures are of a venture scout camp at Gilwell Park in about 1987 ish where we had been taking part in the annual Sedan Chair Rally.
