Cake!

looks yummy doesn't it! I stamped the cupcake with a staz on pad and watercoloured it. I then mounted the image onto mirri card and added three peel off greetings, why I did that I shall never know! it's hard enough to line one up straight let alone three!!!

Many Happy Returns

Apologies for the poor photo, the mirri card has reflected and I couldn't get a better one. Another of those fairy tags today, mounted onto a silver card. I added the peeloff greeting on a piece of mirri card so all in all its very shiny!

More Winnie

Back to those silver cards again and another Winnie the Pooh image. Very simple this time, I took a piece of handmade paper and distressed the edges, laid the image on top and placed it in the centre of the card. A silver peel off greeting to finish it off.

Peek a Boo

That's what I think these guys are playing today! Another card from that QVC kit, it's nearly used up now! As before I used a square base card and matted two layers of coordinating papers. The Disney image I matted onto matching blue paper and then onto mirri card. A peel-off greeting completes the card.

Monochromed Elegance

I don't often visit Black and White but I thought these images looked great on the black card. I did however add some highlights in the form of some border peel-offs and strips of holographic card. The image itself is decoupaged and highlighted with some glitterglue. I do love a spot of cutting out!

Wedding Day

This is the card
I made for my friend Nikki's wedding.
The champagne glass was a photo
which I cut out and 3d mounted onto
textured paper. I added a piece of ribbon
and some feathers and beads.

I was also part of the team that helpred decorate the reception venue. I was in charge of balloons and I dont think I did a bad job even if I do say so myself. The table decorations were beautiful, huge fishbowls with ivy and roses inside and some fairy lights. The room looked totally magical :O)

Back to Birthdays

Christmas is over! and I now have some table back and a little bit of time as it is the school holidays so back to birthday cards. I rediscovered this QVC kit when i was clearing the table for Christmas dinner. The hedgehog images are stamps from the Penny Black range which I watercoloured, the shopper is a Jolly Nation image.. They were matted onto holographic card and coordinating papers. The butterfly card is finished off with some matching peel-offs and vellum attached with gem brads.

Flutterbys

I finally completed all the pages for people on the Butterfly Fat Book list on Craftswap Forum this weekend. These examples also include my first attempts with alcohol inks. I used a butterfly peeloff on an inked background which I then cut out and placed on the page which had been stamped with a butterfly background stamp from Tanda. The other pages include butterflies made from acetate and shimmer papers.
