Up, Up and Away

Happy 4th of July to all my friends across the pond! 


This is card number three from the portfolio set and showcases the new Up, up and away stamp set from the summer mini, aren't the hot air balloons cute? The base card is chocolate chip which remains one of my favourites. The images are also stamped in chocolate chip onto sweet shop designer paper. The sentiment is stamped in chocolate chip onto whisper white card, matted onto pool party card and attached to chocolate satin ribbon.  You can just see in the photograph that the bird images are continued onto the card insert.

Blossom

This card was inspired by a swap that I received at the Reading Training day a few weeks back.  It is such a simple design but so striking and it shows off the new Blossom punch and the new Sweet shop designer paper so beautifully.  These papers are just gorgeous, 2 of the designs (one of which is shown here) are embossed and therefore add some lovely texture to your projects.  The greeting is from Petite Pairs and stamped in Wisteria Wonder. Oh and don't forget to add a touch of bling with rhinestones!
