For my Friend

My Best friend reaches the big 4 0 this week too and I wanted to make something special for her. Earlier this year I found this kit at the NEC it is by Bo Bunny, all the papers and embellishments are perfect for the occasion I think it makes a lovely gift. I have added a few photos of us but left some spaces for her to add her own later.

Laugh!

Just look at that cheeky grin on Alice's face, there was only one title for this page. The picture was taken at Trerice House in Cornwall where we were on holiday. The papers are from the Flavia collection once more - I love this paper pack, and the lettering is from the Brenda Pinnick kit.

Together

Me and my baby girl, a sunny day out and a picnic. She was just walking and so of course wanted to walk everywhere :O) Papers are from the Flavia collection and the flower embellishments held on with brads are from Brenda Pinnick :O)

Special Days

The top picture shows us on a visit to an old family friend who lives far away. The bottom picture is a visit to the seaside from Scout Summer camp, Alice was only 5 months old but it wasnt her first experience of camping ( her first was when she was only 9 weeks!! I must have been mad). The papers are from Colorbok and the lettering is from a Lisa Bearnson kit from QVC.

Alice's first birthday! She was just beginning to walk and was more interested in touching the candle flame than blowing it out hence I have a good hold on her hands ! Papers are from a QVC kit:O)

Alice's Day

Alice's Christening day, July 1994, she is wearing the same dress that I wore when I was Baptised. It was a beautiful day, after the service at church we went back to my in-laws garden for the christening party.

HELP!!

I need some help with suggestions for titling for this page. This is me fit to burst about a week before my daughter was born in March 1994. I just need a one or two word title but I'm stumped for something suitable. All suggestions gratefully received :O)

Lanzarote / Italy

Our Honeymoon took us to Lanzarote for 5 days and then on to Italy with 12 mates for a weeks skiing! Surprisingly there are very few photos from our honeymoon, I wonder why!!!

More Wedding Pictures

Our wedding was a bit unusual, because of our involvement in Scouting a Guard of Honour had been arranged as a surprise for when we came out of the church. My husband had to have 2 Best Men because he couldn't choose between his best friends, he said that if it was ok for Prince Charles then it was ok for him too! :O)

Happily Ever After

Our wedding day, 23rd February 1991. It was the windiest day ever! Don't throw confetti in the church grounds said the vicar so nobody did but it didnt hit the ground until it was across the far side of the church garden!! lol! Yes I know it was February and it was freezing but we really wanted an open top car, besides....(cheesy moment alert).....
... we had our love to keep us warm :O)
The background paper is from DCWV Once upon a time collection, such beautiful paper that I didnt feel the need for any more embellishments. :O)

Local Excitement!

We had the dubious honour of a visit from the London Air Ambulance this morning! Unfortunately it appears that somone fell beneath a tube train at the station just down the road, I hope they are ok. We had to go and have a look at the helicopter though, it's rare that you get to see it close up. If you look carefully you can see the planes taking off from Heathrow in the background.

A very "Merry" Christmas!!

Our first Christmas in our flat and we had a party for all our friends. We all look very merry don't we!! and I was on call for work that night!!!! The papers, ribbon and chipboard embellishments are all from Brenda Pinnick's Christmas kit.

and another!

More camping photos! The top one shows the Beaver Scouts busy creating something at camp, we had good weather didnt we! "Fun and Friends" is the Beaver Scout motto. The bottom picture is me being awful at archery, well I did score a couple of bullseyes but my technique was bad as I ended up with a badly bruised arm from the string of the bow lol. The papers and embellishments are from Colorbok.

Thrills and Spills

Two pages for you today!!! I'm so pleased to have found a way to show off those photos that we all buy when we go to them parks. These were all at Alton Towers in Staffordshire in 1987 I think! I left the photos in their folders so I could keep the ride info available. The papers are from Flavia and the letters are from Brenda Pinnick as before. The titlingof Thrills and Spills sums up a day at Alton Towers I think!! :O)

It's Snow Time

Let It Snow

The latest installment for my Birthday Album shows me on a skiing holiday in Austria. OMG!! those clothes!!! and the skiing wasnt brilliant either though I can manage a very passable snow plough lol! The photos are mounted on holographic card to add a bit of sparkle and all papers and embellishments are from the Brenda Pinnick Christmas album kit from QVC last year.

Birthday Blog Candy

Here we are, as promised. To "celebrate" the 1st anniversary of my 39th Birthday I am giving away some blog candy.
